We can always arrange extra groups, if there are 5 or more students on the same level wishing to form one group. Evening courses: Twice a week two classes each time (e.g. mo.+wedn. 7.-8.30 pm), 48 classes at all (about 3 month) COURSES' FEES
Evening courses: 187,00 EUR / course = 48 classes COURSE DIRECTION Qualified teachers who have intensive experience in teaching German as a foreign language LEARNING MATERIALS (not included) "Themen Aktuell 1-3" - Hueber Verlag (A-1 until B-1) "EM - Hauptkurs" (B-2) "EM - Abschlusskurs" (C-1) "Das Oberstufenbuch" - Huber Verlag (C-2) APPLICATION A fully completed application form needs to be handed in and the fees for one month in advance are payable one week before the course starts (with accomodation one month before the course starts). DURATION All intensive courses can be booked monthly. Weekly bookings are also possible. CERTIFICATES AND EXAMS Certificates of participation are available free of charge. All our exams are recognized worldwide PLACEMENT Students who have already learned some German can be placed into the appropriate course after completing a placement test. INSURANCE German visa regulations require health insurance coverage for the entire stay. The average price is around 30,00 EUR per month. We work with two different agencies, but the choice is free. VISA REGULATIONS Non-EU students need a language-course visa if they are going to take classes for more than three months. We will issue a statement that must be submitted to the German Embassy, along with the other necessary documents. Please note that this certificate can only be issued if the completed course registration form has been handed in and the course fee has been paid in advance! As it usually takes 4-12 weeks for the visa to be granted (which depends on the home country of the applicant), students should allow this time when they are planning their stay. If the Embassy denies a visa or if the visa will not be issued until after the beginning of the course, students are required to notify us immediately. Otherwise the fees cannot be refunded. The first visa is always valid for three month only and can be extended to one year (in some cases even up to 18 months). We strongly recommend contacting the German Embassy prior to course registration to inquire about regulations.
This is the minimum amount of money necessary per month. Living costs certainly depend on one's personal lifestyle, but students should not have less than this amount available. Non EU-students with a language-course visa are not allowed to work in Germany! ARRIVAL IN GERMANY Students with a room reservation can be met at the train station or the bus station and be taken to their accommodation. there is a shuttle-service from Frankfurt Airport to Heidelberg: Every student will be given detailed information and a city map. Students are required to register with the Office of Foreign Affairs one week on arrival. As this office is in the vicinity, the P?dagogium can take care of the registration. |
